TRUSTEE’S SALE NOTICE

WHEREAS, on the 16 th day of June, 2022, by deed of trust recorded in the

Register’s Office of Perry County, Tennessee, in Book 143, page 190, Danny Edward

Dabbs and wife, Elizabeth E. Dabbs, conveyed to William E. Bates, Trustee, the

hereinafter described real estate to secure the payment of a note therein described; and

WHEREAS, default has been made in payment of said indebtedness and other

provisions of the deed of trust have been violated, and the holder of said indebtedness has

directed the Trustee to foreclose the deed of trust in accordance with the terms thereof;

the public is, therefore, hereby notified that the undersigned Trustee will sell the

hereinafter described real estate at public auction to the highest and best bidder for cash,

THURSDAY, JULY 23, 2026, AT 2:00 P.M.

AT THE SOUTH DOOR OF THE COURT HOUSE

IN LINDEN, PERRY COUNTY, TENNESSEE

The property to be sold is located in Perry County, Tennessee, and is more

particularly described as follows:

A certain tract or parcel of land located in the Fourth (4 th ) Civil District of Perry

County, Tennessee, and being more particularly described as follows, to wit:

BEGINNING at a stake in the edge of a road, and runs thence west 96 feet to a stake

in Paul DePreist’s line; thence north with said Paul DePreist’s line, 196 feet or more,

to a stake in Ray Warren’ line; thence east 96 feet to a stake; thence south 196 feet,

or more, to the beginning.

Being the same property conveyed to Sollie D. Bates and wife, Idell Bates, by

warranty deed or Larry Coble and wife, Carolyn Coble, dated September 17, 1973,

of record in Deed Book L-13, page 15, in the Register’s Office of Perry County,

Tennessee. Sollie D. Bates predeceased Idell Bates, and she became the owner of

said real estate as the surviving tenant by the entirety. The said Idell Bates is now

deceased and pursuant to the Last Will and Testament of Idell Bates, of record in

Book D-30, page 852, in said Register’s office, the hereinabove described property

was devised to Danny Edward Dabbs.

This property is an improved tract identified as tax map 019J, group B, parcel

014.00, in the office of the Assessor of Property of Perry County, Tennessee. The

address of the above-described property is believed to be 93 Breece Drive, Lobelville,

Tennessee 37097; but such address is not part of the legal description of the property sold

herein, and in the event of any discrepancy, the legal description herein shall control.

Pursuant to T.C.A. 35-5-104, other parties that may have an interest in the tract of

land herein described are the following:

1. Perry County Clerk & Master through unpaid taxes assessed as tax map

019J, group B, parcel 014.00, for 2024 county taxes in the amount of $782.10, plus

penalty and interest; and for 2024 city taxes in the amount of $295.41, plus penalty and

interest.

2. Perry County Trustee through unpaid county taxes assessed as tax map

019J, group B, parcel 014.00, for 2025 in the amount of $575.58, plus penalty and

interest.

3. City of Lobelville through unpaid city taxes assessed as tax map 019J,

group B, parcel 014.00, for 2025 in the amount of $192.75, plus penalty and interest.

4. Agreed Judgment in favor of Discovery Bank, Plaintiff, c/o Nathan &

Nathan, PC, P.O. Box 1715, Birmingham, AL 35201, filed against Danny E. Dabbs,

Defendant, recorded on June 9, 2025, in Book D-47, page 282, in the Register’s Office of

Perry County, Tennessee.

The sale will be made free from the equity of redemption, homestead, dower and

all other rights and exemptions, which were expressly waived under said deed of trust.

Trustee will convey all his right, title and interest, but without warranties of title.

The sale will be made subject to any and all encumbrances, including but not limited to

unpaid taxes; and I will sell and convey as Trustee and not otherwise.

The sale held pursuant to this Notice may be rescinded at the Trustee’s option at

any time. The right is reserved to adjourn the day of the sale to another day, time and

place certain without further publication, upon announcement at the time and place for

the sale set forth above.

ELECTION NOTICE-EARLY VOTING

The Perry County Election Commission is hereby publishing notice of the Early Voting Period for the State and Federal Primary, State and County General, Town of Linden and Lobelville City Election to be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026..

The Early Voting Period is: Friday July 17th thru Wednesday, August 1st, 2026

Voting hours: Monday through Friday will be 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 am, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

(Closed 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for Lunch). Saturday hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Closed all County and State Holidays.

TO VOTE IN PERSON: Any eligible voter for this election may come to the Perry County

Election Commission Office located at 113 Factory St. Linden, Tennessee. ANY ELIGIBLE

VOTER THAT WISHES TO VOTE IN PERSON MUST HAVE PHOTO

ID!!!

You may also vote absentee by mail if one of the following reasons applies:

1, I am 60 years of age or older.

2. I will be outside my county during all hours of early voting and Election Day.

3. I am hospitalized, ill or physically disabled and unable to appear at my polling place to vote (this includes persons who have underlying medical or health conditions which in their determination render them more susceptible to contracting COVID-19 or at greater risk should they contract it.)

4. I am a caretaker of a hospitalized, ill or physically disabled person (this includes caretakers for

persons who have underlying medical or health conditions which in their determination render them more

susceptible to contracting COVID-19 or at greater risk should they contract it).

5. I am a full-time student or spouse of a full-time student outside my county.

6. I reside in a licensed facility, outside my county, providing relatively permanent domiciliary

care, i.e. Nursing Home.

7. I am a candidate for office in the election.

8. I am observing a religious holiday that prevents me from voting during early voting or on

Election Day.

9. I will be serving as an election official or employee of the election commission on Election Day.

10. I will be serving on jury duty.

11. I am a voter with a disability and my polling place is inaccessible.

12. I have a CDL or TWIC or I am a spouse of a person with CDL or TWIC and will be out of the

county during early voting and Election Day. Enclosed is a copy of the CDL or TWIC (required)

13. I am a member of the military, spouse, or dependent.

14. I am an activated National Guard member on state orders.

15. I am an overseas citizen and otherwise qualified to vote in TN.

PROCEDURE FOR VOTING BY MAIL:

If you meet one of the above listed conditions and wish to vote by mail, you must request

a ballot in writing over your signature. The request can be made as much as 90 days in advance of an Election and no later than 7 days of an Election, and for this Election, the last day to receive a request is Monday, July 27th , 2026. The request may be mailed or hand delivered to the Perry County Election

Office. The request can serve as an application for a ballot if it contains the following information:

1. Voters Name

2. Voters address within Perry County

3. Voters Social Security Number

4. Address to mail the ballot if outside the county

5. The election in which the voter wishes to vote

6.The reason the voter is requesting to vote by mail.

7. Date of Birth

8. Voters Signature

If the request does not contain all the information listed above the Election Commission shall send the

voter an application for an Absentee Ballot in order to obtain the needed information.
